Restaurants by category

Sliver is in the process of building a database of restaurants in Cape Town, the Winelands and nearby towns. This page is very new, but check back soon to find a broad range of eateries worth spending your hard-earned bucks in.

Sliver’s creator Tony Jackman knows from experience that most people tend to search for a restaurant by category. You may be in the mood for seafood, or you may have a special occasion, or have overseas visitors to impress and might want them to enjoy a meal with a great Cape view. So Sliver lists restaurants by these and other categories. Look for groups characterised by such things as I’m in the mood for… curry, or sushi, or a romantic dinner … etc and you’ll find what you’re looking for. And only restaurants Tony thinks are worth recommending will be listed. If he does not wish to recommend a venue, it will not be listed on Sliver.
